UTMB World Series - Alpine to Urban

The UTMB World Series circuit is thrilled to announce the addition of Snowbasin by UTMB, a brand-new event set in the heart of Utah’s Wasatch Mountains.

Featuring 58km and 28km distances, Snowbasin by UTMB’s courses will traverse some of the most iconic terrain in the Wasatch Range. From runnable high-alpine trails to smooth, flowing descents back to the finish line, Snowbasin by UTMB will showcase the diversity and character of the northern local landscape, delivering a trail running experience rooted in adventure and community spirit.

• Dates: September 10-12, 2026

• Distances:
• 58km (50K) — 5,800 ft of elevation gain. Runners will move through sagebrush, stands of aspen and fir trees while drinking in amazing views of Ogden City and the Great Salt Lake.
• 28km (20K) — over 2,400 ft of climbing. The course showcases the best singletrack of Snowbasin Resort, taking runners through forests and mountain meadows and offering views of craggy peaks while circumnavigating the resort.
