4th of July @ Brighton

Celebrate the 4th of July in the mountains with breakfast at Milly Chalet, live music, and Brighton's annual parade around the Brighton Loop. Join us for a mountain tradition and celebrate Independence Day high in Big Cottonwood Canyon.

Breakfast and music

• 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM at Milly Chalet
• Breakfast service featuring live music from Dave McCormick
• Menu highlights: Breakfast Burrito & Beverage; Pancakes with Bacon or Sausage & Beverage; Yogurt Parfait; Fruit Cup; Beverages; Baked Goods & Snacks

Parade schedule

• 9:30 AM: Parade participants stage at Brighton Chapel.
• 9:45 AM: Access to the Brighton Loop closes.
• 10:00 AM: The parade begins. UPD Motors will clear the route before participants enter the loop.
• 10:05 AM: Vehicles and floats complete one lap around the Brighton Loop.
• 10:30 AM: Bikers and walkers begin once the final Razor passes the Visitor Center. Please note: E-bikes are not permitted in the parade.
• 11:00 AM: The Brighton Loop reopens to traffic.

Safety note: For the safety of all participants and spectators, candy may not be thrown from vehicles or floats during the parade. Candy tosses will be handled by designated Razors to help keep children safely out of the roadway.
