Join us for a hauntingly delicious evening at Salt Lake Culinary Education as we team up with Level Crossing Brewing Co. for a special five-course food and beer pairing experience celebrating the flavors of spooky season.

Each course will feature a Level Crossing beer paired with a chef-created dish designed to complement and build on the flavors in the glass. Representatives from Level Crossing Brewing Co. will share insight into each beer’s style, character, and flavor profile. Our chef will explain how the beer inspired each dish and, in some cases, was incorporated into it.

The beer and food are designed to work as one cohesive pairing, layering flavor, texture, aroma, sweetness, bitterness, acidity, and richness from sip to bite.

The Menu

• UNKNOWN LEGEND — Czech Pilsner, “The Graveyard”: Crispy potato croquette, smoked pulled chicken, horseradish crème fraîche, pickled mustard seed, and dill
• LOOK UP! — Amber Ale, “Into the Woods”: Wild mushroom and roasted squash tartlet, caramelized onion, goat cheese, sage, and black garlic
• THE GREAT GIG — IPA, “The Butcher’s Block”: Tender pork belly, charred apple, chile-maple glaze, celery-root purée, and cider gastrique
• SUSS IT OUT — Rye IPA, “Soulless”: Beef short rib, charred pineapple, ancho chile, and black garlic
• SOULLESS REX — Triple IPA, “The Black Heart”: Dark chocolate torte, black garlic salted caramel, blood orange, and toasted hazelnut

$90 per person. Must be 21+ to attend. Please be on time.

Gratuity is not included. You may add gratuity for your chef instructors and the team at your discretion.

All purchases are nonrefundable. You must give 72 hours’ notice to reschedule your reservation. Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the scheduled class are not eligible for refunds, credits, or class transfers. If you cannot attend, you may send someone in your place.
