Get ready for a frightfully fun time at Riverton’s first-ever Halloween 5K and Mini Monster Triathlon! Dress up, hit the Jordan River Parkway Trail, and celebrate the season with festive fitness for all ages. Costumes are encouraged, medals await at the finish line, and Halloween spirit is a must.

Halloween 5K

Join us for Riverton’s first-ever Halloween 5K—a fun and festive run along the Jordan River Parkway Trail. Costumes are encouraged, so bring your best spooky, silly, or seasonal look to the course! Each participant gets a medal and a cool t-shirt.

- General Registration: July 11 - September 5 | $20
- Late Registration: September 6 - October 6 | $25

Packet pickup will be held at Riverton City Hall from September 29 to October 3—Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Be sure to register with a valid phone number to receive your race results via text after crossing the finish line.

Mini Monster Triathlon

Join us for Riverton’s first-ever Mini Monster Triathlon, held along the scenic Jordan River Parkway Trail. This fun and festive event is designed for kids and families. Participants aged 2-9 will complete an age-appropriate run, followed by a bike, scooter, strider, or tricycle ride, and finish with a small pumpkin roll. Costumes are encouraged, and children may be assisted by a parent or guardian on the course. All participants will receive a medal at the finish line. Please note that bikes and trikes should be attended at all times, as Riverton City is not responsible for lost or damaged items.

Please bring the following for your Mini Monsters:
- Bike, scooter, strider, or tricycle
- Helmet
- Comfortable clothes to run in
- Tennis shoes
