Oktoberfest

Oktoberfest at Snowbird is a family-friendly festival running every Saturday and Sunday, plus Labor Day, from August 8 through October 11, 2026. The festival is open from noon to 6 pm and admission is free.

Oktoberfest features live music, games in the Halle tent, alphorns on Hidden Peak, live art installations, and an array of local vendors in the Marktplatz. There are over 50 varieties of beer and traditional Bavarian food available à la carte, including bratwurst, weisswurst, sauerkraut, apple strudel, and pretzels. Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are offered, including gluten-free choices. Beer steins can be reused from previous years or purchased at the event.

Special events include live entertainment on the Chickadee Stage and featured non-profits with booths in the Marktplatz.

There are more than 21 summer activities available, including:

- Mountain Coaster
- Ropes Course
- Bungee Trampolines

Snowbird provides free shuttle service to and from the Park & Ride at 9400 S. Highland Dr. on Saturdays, Sundays, and Labor Day, beginning at 12 pm. Shuttle intervals: every 80 minutes from Aug 8–23 and every 40 minutes from Aug 29–Oct 11. Parking at the resort is limited; certain lots have a $15 fee and valet is $30. Carpooling is encouraged.

All points of sale at the event are cashless. Reverse ATMs are available for guests to obtain prepaid debit cards. The event is smoke-free and no pets are allowed except by special permit. Oktoberfest is open to all ages.
