Civic Museum Opening Reception: Del Dicho al Hecho

Salt Lake County’s Civic Museum and Art in Public Places Program presents Del Dicho al Hecho, an exhibition by Oaxacan artist Luis Rosado Montes.

Rosado Montes explores the intersection of textile heritage, visual art, and popular wisdom through a series of artistically transformed rebozos — traditional Mexican woven shawls used for clothing, carrying children, and ceremonial purposes.

Join us for the opening reception and experience an evening of art, culture, and community dialogue. Remarks and traditional Oaxacan cuisine provided.
