Murray Fun Days

Murray Fun Days is a community celebration taking place on July 4th, 2026, in Murray Park and surrounding areas.

Activities throughout the day include:
- Sunrise Service at 7:00 AM at Murray Park Amphitheater
- Rotary Club Community Breakfast from 6:30 to 10:00 AM at Pavilion #5 (fee required)
- 5K Walk/Run: check-in at 7:00 AM, race at 8:00 AM at Constitution Circle
- Children’s Race: check-in at 7:00 AM, race at 9:00 AM at Constitution Circle
- Parade at 8:30 AM, beginning at Fashion Place Mall (live-streamed online)
- Chalk Art Contest: 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM outside Murray Armory (pre-registration required)
- Plein Air Contest: 6:30 AM to 12:00 PM inside Murray Armory; winners announced at 1:00 PM
- Daytime entertainment from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the White Gazebo
- Games, car show, food trucks, and bingo at various locations in Murray Park
- Murray Fire Department In-Service Ceremony at 1:00 PM at Station 81
- Balance Bike Race for kids at 11:00 AM and 11:30 AM on the trail southwest of the outdoor pool
- Free movies at the Murray Theater at 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM
- Evening concert by "Hartley Road" from 8:30 to 10:00 PM at the Murray Park softball field
- Fireworks at 10:00 PM in Murray Park

Parade lineup begins at 7:30 AM at the northwest corner of Fashion Place Mall (6100 S. State Street). The parade route travels from 6100 South, north on State Street to Vine Street, east to 330 East, and finishes at Hillcrest Junior High.

Parade entry information:
- Applications, including completed entry forms and announcer scripts, should be emailed to aking@murray.utah.gov or delivered to the Parks & Recreation Office.
- There is a $50 application fee for commercial entries, payable online, in person, or by mail to the Parks & Recreation Office (296 E. Murray Park Avenue, Murray, Utah 84107).
- Parade applications close Thursday, June 25, 2026.
