BATTERY is the work of music mastermind percussionist and multi-instrumentalist Jacob Porter. New(ish) to Salt Lake City, Jacob has been a mainstay in the Los Angeles creative community, blending jazz, math, pop, and experimental qualities into a sound all his own and widely sought after. Since moving to Utah, Jacob has become a near household name among musicians here, playing with a wide cast of artists from jazz to pop to folk and the avant-garde. His precision drumming and creative output are something to both behold and be inspired by.
