Oktoberfest

Oktoberfest at Snowbird is a multi-weekend festival for the whole family, featuring activities, live music, traditional Bavarian food, over 50 varieties of beer, and local vendors. The event is held every Saturday and Sunday, plus Labor Day, from August 8 through October 11, 2026. Hours are noon to 6 pm each day. Admission is free; beer and food are available for purchase à la carte.

The festival includes a biergarten with German-style beers and selections from local Utah breweries. Reuse an official Snowbird Oktoberfest stein to save on beer, or buy a new mug to add to your collection.

Food options include:
- bratwurst
- weisswurst
- sauerkraut
- apple strudel
- pretzels
- and more

There are activities for all ages, including more than 21 summer attractions. For best prices, purchase Scenic Tram Ride tickets or All-Day Activity Passes online in advance.

Der Marktplatz, just inside the main entrance, features over 40 local vendors offering jewelry, woodworking, pottery, crafts, and artwork.

New this year: Snowbird provides free shuttle service to and from Oktoberfest in partnership with Snow Country Limo, running noon to 6 pm on all event days.

Check the event calendar for live music, games, special performances, and updates on featured non-profit organizations with booths at the Marktplatz. Lodging specials are available for guests who want to stay overnight.
