About

ABOUT JEREMIAH AND THE RED EYES

Jeremiah Sammartano is a Flagstaff-based, Emmy-nominated singer/songwriter who fronts the bluesy/Americana — and sometimes one-man — band Jeremiah and the Red Eyes. He has covered many miles over the past several years, spreading music influenced by the raw blues of Charley Patton, the lyrical and often raucous sounds of The Pogues, the twang of Willie Nelson, and some vintage rock and roll — "Delta Blues and Twangy Grooves."

He has toured from Los Angeles through the western states to St. Louis, Nashville (where he relocated for a spell in 2008-2009), Chicago, and overseas to the UK. He has shared the stage with Willie Nelson, Southern Culture On The Skids, and David Olney, and performed on radio shows including:
- WDVX Blue Plate Special (Knoxville, TN)
- The Live@Lunch show on KRFC (Fort Collins, CO)
- ResonanceFM (London, UK)

In Spring 2011 Jeremiah received an Emmy nomination for writing music for the documentary Prison Through Tomorrow's Eyes.

Albums:
- 2004: Red Eyed And Restless
- 2010: Under Your Spell
- December 2012: HOME (10-song album)
- March 31, 2018: These Motel Days

Since 2015 he has been busy with trips through the Southwest, a tour through the UK, and many more shows across the West, North, South, and East.
