The 2026 Avenues Street Fair will take place on Saturday, October 10, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The fair will be held on 1st Avenue between I and O Streets.
This annual neighborhood event features local arts, crafts, prepackaged foods, and a wide array of food and drink vendors. There will be live music and entertainment, with a selected lineup performing throughout the day. The event is suitable for all ages and is organized by the Greater Avenues Community Council.
Vendor applications for the following categories are currently closed, with a waitlist in place:
- Art

- Prepackaged food
- Food vendors
- Nonprofits
- Political
- Youth

The event will showcase the 2026 Featured Artist, Libby Peterson, with her theme art "Animals in the Avenues." Attendees can visit her booth near the GACC booth at 1st Avenue and K Street.
