Sandy's annual Hot Air Balloon Festival features early morning hot air balloon launches on Friday and Saturday morning. It's an event for the community to come together and enjoy the spectacle of colorful balloons rising into the sky.
- Dates: Friday & Saturday, August 7 & 8
- Time: Sunrise (approximately 6:30 a.m.)
- Location: Storm Mountain Park - 980 East 11400 South
Highlights:
- Tethered rides will be available (first-come, first-served) 50-80 feet in the air.
- We’ll also have food trucks, free latex balloons, and a morning DJ.
- Hot air balloons will launch weather permitting.
