About
Join us for a live performance by Geneva-based French performance artist Aurélien Dougé, exploring the body, spatial geometry, and the subtle mechanics of gesture.
Dougé will perform his 20-minute work Untitled (Steel Bar) twice during the day:
- 1:30 PM — Performance only (20 minutes)
- 5:00 PM — Performance followed immediately by an artist talk with Dougé
In Untitled (Steel Bar), Dougé uses a single steel bar to examine the relationship between physical effort, architectural space, and endurance. Moving between spatial geometry and minute physical variations, the performance activates the gallery through controlled tension, bodily presence, and the interplay of light and shadow.
Aurélien Dougé is a French performance artist and choreographer based in Geneva, Switzerland. His practice spans choreography, visual arts, and spatial dynamics, examining how human movement interacts with sculptural structures, architectural environments, and temporal limits.
