Resonance Salon Series: Vaness Chang on Redefining Human Intelligence
Location
About
Vanessa Chang guides this discussion on how we think, and how to keep thinking for ourselves.
No. 119’s RESONANCE Salon Series is a monthly gathering of creatives and thought leaders in the intimate setting of our vintage record lounge, featuring performances, readings, conversations, workshops, and curated experiences. This third event in the series will look at how AI is changing how we work, live, and think, and invite us to examine the role intelligence plays in our culture, our economy, and our sense of human value.
Across cultures and throughout history, people have recognized many ways of knowing. Modern life has tended to prioritize a narrower set: the analytical, computational, and measurable. AI gives us a new reason to look again.
Join Vanessa Chang for an evening of conversation and exploration: How do you recognize intelligence in yourself and others? What ways of knowing have you learned to trust—or discount? How might a fuller awareness of our own intelligence change how we work with AI? Where do we collaborate, and where do we simply defer?
The event is free, but seating is limited. Reserve your spot using the event’s reservation link. Doors will close at 7:15 p.m. on event night; please be prompt.
