With a sound and style honed in the honky tonks of Texas and beyond, Braxton Keith is part of a new generation of country singer-songwriters leading a revival of its core creative tenets.

Drawn to the ’80s country aesthetic and the rush of the stage, Keith has spent the last few years on the road, introducing fans to the timeless power of a revved-up band and rich, organic twang. His approach is rooted in tradition, but he keeps moving forward, one state line at a time.

A proud Texas native, Keith was born in Midland and learned piano from his grandmother, who loved stars like Porter Wagoner. He grew up singing and drawn to country storytelling. He later picked up a guitar and began writing classically inspired songs before recording one in college. “I did it – and I never stopped,” Keith says.

After leaving school to pursue Texas’ live-music scene, Keith and his band have toured nonstop since 2020. His sound blends throwback honky-tonk with a sharp vocal style and San Antonio Spanish influence. Nationwide touring and self-released singles and EPs helped build his following. Since first visiting Nashville in 2021, he has continued developing songs about love, loss, and life, rooted in the energy of a Texan dancehall.

Featured on Spotify playlists including New Boots and Breakout Country, Keith’s 2024 single “Cozy” brings a fresh take on a classic style. More new music was planned for 2025 as he continued touring.
