Buffalo Traffic Jam is a folk band born in Bozeman, Montana, where members Frankie Cassidy and Nathan Ross first met as students at Montana State University. United by a love of storytelling and acoustic sound, they make music inspired by wide-open landscapes and the emotions beneath everyday life.
After their self-titled debut EP, the band released the singles “Rescue Me” and “Forgot Your Roots.” Their newest release, the Take Me Home EP, came out October 24 and has picked up over 8 million streams across DSPs. It explores resilience, nostalgia, and self-discovery while expanding their sound and staying grounded in heartfelt lyrics and raw instrumentals.
In 2025, Buffalo Traffic Jam made festival debuts at Under the Big Sky and Redwest Fest, and toured with country singer-songwriter Dylan Gossett. From dorm room jam sessions to venues across the US, the band has stayed true to its roots.
