About
Blackpool’s Boston Manor formed in 2013 and, in two short years, signed with US indie label Pure Noise Records. They’ve built a name for themselves with their emotive rock anthems and DIY work ethic. The band is involved in producing its own videos and visual content, and has received coverage from Kerrang TV, Scuzz, BBC Radio 1, Kerrang, Rock Sound, Upset and Discovered. Boston Manor was nominated for Best British Breakthrough at the 2018 Kerrang Awards.
Their debut album, ‘Be Nothing’, was released in 2016 to widespread acclaim. Since then, the band has toured the US, UK and Europe with acts including Moose Blood, Knuckle Puck, Have Mercy, Lower Than Atlantis and Four Year Strong, and played Vans Warped Tour in 2017. In 2017, they also played Slam Dunk Festival, Reading & Leeds and the Kerrang Tour.
Produced by Mike Sapone (Taking Back Sunday, Mayday Parade, Public Enemy), ‘Welcome To The Neighbourhood’ is a soundtrack to disenfranchisement set in a fictionalised version of the band’s hometown. The band toured the UK in support of its release before heading back to the US for a main support slot on the Real Friends tour.
With support from Ben Quad and Super Sometimes.
