Beside Myself, Basement’s fourth full-length album, explores the drawbacks of living in your own head and trying to shake off everyday anxieties. Its introspective lyrics are paired with forceful guitar riffs, visceral rhythms, and indelible melodies. The album was co-produced by the band and Colin Brittain, and mixed by Rich Costey. Basement focused on capturing the raw energy of their live performances, with minimal adornment.
