Dweezil Zappa is a Grammy-winning guitarist and the son of Frank Zappa. Over more than three decades, he has performed more than 2,000 concerts worldwide and has continued to perform his father’s music. He is returning to concert stages in 2024 for the first time since the 2020 Hot Ratz Live! Tour.
His original compositions span multiple albums, including “Confessions of Deprived Youth” (1991) and “Via Zammata” (2015). His work has been performed by a 100-piece orchestra in Holland. He has collaborated with artists including Edward Van Halen, Deep Purple, Lisa Loeb, Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock, and Steve Vai.
In 2020, he completed construction of Hikari, a multimedia studio. In 2024, he created the stereo and Atmos mixes for the 50th anniversary re-release of Deep Purple’s “Machine Head.” He also teaches guitar through his music camp, Dweezilla, and online lessons.
