Scouting America: Earth Rocks for Webelos Cub Scouts

Webelos—dig into the incredible world of rocks, minerals, and crystals at NHMU! Investigate the differences between igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic rocks, then get hands-on as you crack open a geode, start your own crystal-growing project, and test minerals using the Mohs hardness scale. Finish your adventure with a brief tour of the Museum’s Land Gallery.

Plus, every participant will receive a special Natural History Museum of Utah participation patch to commemorate their experience!
