Bonneville Speed Week

SpeedWeek is a land speed racing event taking place August 1 - 7, 2026 at Bonneville. It features hot rods, roadsters, belly tankers, lakesters, motorcycles, streamliners, diesel trucks, and other vehicles driven by individuals aiming to set and break speed records on the salt flats.

Event dates:
- Main event: August 1 - 7, 2026
- Vehicle inspection opens: July 30 at 9:00 a.m.

Entry and registration:
- 2026 SpeedWeek Pre-Entry fee: $800
- Online pre-entry available via the event form
- Mail-in pre-entry form available to download
- Post entry (if not pre-entered): $1,000 (on the salt)
- All entrants must be current members of Bonneville Nationals Inc. or SCTA, register their vehicle, pass safety inspection, and drivers must submit a Medical Form (online and print options available).

Event information and requirements:
- Rookie drivers must complete Rookie Orientation before driving on any course.
- All event workers must fill out a Workers Medical Form.
- All workers, entrants, crew, and guests must sign an insurance waiver and purchase an armband to be in restricted event areas.

Spectator fees (2026):
- $60 Salt Pass Pin (Event Pass) or $25 Day Pass
- Passes are only available for purchase at the event

- Trophy, jacket, and timing tag duplicate order forms are available online and by mail.
- Approved fuels and gas will be available on site; select products may require pre-order.
