About

Joanne Shaw Taylor was discovered by Dave Stewart of the Eurythmics at age 16, who invited her to join his supergroup D. U. P. Her guitar work has earned praise from artists including Jimmy Cliff, Joe Bonamassa, Stevie Wonder, and Annie Lennox.

Her debut album White Sugar (2009) on Ruf Records introduced her soulful voice and songwriting. Subsequent releases include Diamonds In The Dirt (2010), Almost Always Never (2012) — featuring the UK radio hit "Soul Station" — and the live album Songs From The Road (2013). In 2014 she released The Dirty Truth (Axehouse Records), with singles "Mud, Honey" and "Wicked Soul." Wild (2016), produced by Kevin Shirley, featured performances of "Dyin' To Know" and "Summertime" on BBC Two's Later With Jools Holland.

Reckless Heart (2019) reached the UK Top 20 Album Chart. Her seventh album, The Blues Album (2021), produced with Joe Bonamassa and Josh Smith and released on KTBA Records, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Blues Chart. In 2022 she released her first live DVD alongside Blues From The Heart Live, her second consecutive No. 1 on the Billboard Blues Chart, and made a TV debut on Public Television (PBS). That year she also released Nobody's Fool, featuring contributions from Joe Bonamassa, Dave Stewart, Tina Guo, and Carmen Vandenburg.

Produced by Kevin Shirley, her latest studio album Heavy Soul explores emotional themes and features musicians such as Anton Fig, Alison Presswood, and Rob McNelley. Joanne remains influential in blues rock and is eagerly anticipating her next album release.

Robert Jon & The Wreck hail from Southern California and have developed a signature Southern-rock-influenced sound. Band members are:
- Robert Jon Burrison (lead vocals, guitar)
- Andrew Espantman (drums, background vocals)
- Henry James Schneekluth (lead guitar, background vocals)
- Warren Murrel (bass)
- Jake Abernathie (keyboards)

Simply put, it is impossible to ignore when these talented musicians take the stage. They have shared bills with Joe Bonamassa, Blackberry Smoke, Peter Frampton, The Marshall Tucker Band, The Black Crowes, Little Feat, and Rival Sons.

Their 2020 album Last Light On The Highway earned worldwide acclaim, followed by Shine A Light On Me Brother (2021), which led to a collaboration with Bonamassa’s Journeyman Records. Ride Into The Light (2023) included work with producers Don Was, Kevin Shirley, and Dave Cobb, plus contributions from Joe Bonamassa and Josh Smith. That year also saw the release of Live At The Ancienne Belgique, their first official live concert film.

In 2024 they again worked with Kevin Shirley for Red Moon Rising. In 2025 the band released Heartbreaks & Last Goodbyes, produced by GRAMMY-winner Dave Cobb. With the new album, Robert Jon & The Wreck planned a major U.S. West Coast run with Samantha Fish this fall and an extensive European and U.K. tour in the spring. Known for fiery performances, their live show has been described as a life-affirming, communal experience—where blistering guitar solos, soulful harmonies, and unshakable grooves bring audiences to their feet night after night.
