A Gallivan Music and Dance Series

Dance the night away in the heart of downtown at Gallivan Center’s Dance Night Series. Taking place every Tuesday from June 2 through September 29 (excluding August 4 and 25), this weekly series brings live music and upbeat dancing to the plaza.

Each night kicks off with a 30-minute dance lesson from 7:00–7:30 PM, introducing the style of dance featured by that night’s live band. The band then plays from 7:30–9:15 PM, with a 15-minute intermission midway through the evening for an additional dance lesson.

Rotating dance styles include swing, line dancing, and Latin dance. Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or stepping onto the floor for the first time, Dance Nights feel like a concert you’re meant to dance at!

Event timeline:
- 7:00 PM – Dance Lesson (All Levels Welcome)
- 7:30 PM – Live Band Begins
- 8:15 PM – Dance Lesson
- 8:30 PM – Live Band Continues
- 9:15 PM – Concert End

What to bring:
- Blanket or lawn chairs to sit on (limited seating will be available)

- No ticket required; this community-forward event is FREE to attend
- Concert is on rain or shine
