About
The Living Traditions Festival is a three-day multicultural event produced by the Salt Lake City Arts Council in partnership with the Utah Division of Arts & Museums. It takes place May 21–23, 2027, and supports the preservation of culturally diverse traditions, perspectives, and communities through presentations of traditional music, dance, crafts, food, and more. Its goal is to foster understanding and belonging among communities through Utah-based programming and partnerships.
Attendees of all ages can experience performances, craft artist demonstrations, and foods from various traditions. Local and diverse cultural communities share their heritage through the arts.
Interest forms for performing artists, craft artists, and food vendors open in January 2027. For vendor or artist inquiries, contact Dawn Borchardt at [email protected].
