Carsick in the backseat from the stop-and-go, foot fixed to the brake driving of New York City, you catch a glimpse in the rearview mirror. A set of familiar eyes meet yours, but it couldn’t be. Why would Jesus H. Christ be an immigrant in the U. S. of A, collecting fares as a cabbie to put food on the table? Certainly this isn’t the American Dream we were sold.

A tongue-in-cheek concept representing so many forms of disillusionment and hypocrisy, Jesus Christ Taxi Driver found their band name, as well as a track off of their upcoming second album Taxi The Rich.
