The 18th Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival Presented By Harmons is Utah’s largest local-centric art, music, science, and technology festival, celebrating all things handmade in Utah.
It features over 500 local artisans, vintage vendors, foodies, youth entrepreneurs, performers, and STEM exhibitors. It takes place at the Utah State Fairpark, 155 N 1000 W, Salt Lake City, UT 84116.
Schedule:
- Friday, August 7th: 5 p.m. – 10 p.m.
- Saturday, August 8th: 12 p.m. – 10 p.m.
- Sunday, August 9th: 12 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Applications are open to Utah-based artisans, vintage vendors, craft food creators, food trucks, performers, STEM innovators, and youth entrepreneurs until March 26, 2026.

The festival offers several scholarship opportunities, including the Scholarship and Mentor Program (for first-time exhibitors in artisan, vintage, and craft food categories), Sponsored Entrepreneur Program, and additional exhibitor fee scholarships for Kid Row and STEM. Selected participants can receive business training, networking, waived booth fees, and mentorship.
Volunteers play an important role during the festival and opportunities are available for those interested in assisting with event operations and supporting artisans.
DIY Fest applicants can also submit an application for the Craft Lake City Makers Mart at Millcreek Common, a consignment-style market celebrating local creative businesses.
