ILLUMINATE

ILLUMINATE is a free, public festival celebrating the intersection of art, light, and creative technology in the heart of Salt Lake City. Taking place on November 21 and 22, the festival transforms downtown into an immersive playground featuring large-scale light installations, projection mapping, interactive STEAM experiences, live performances, and drone shows.

Visitors of all ages can wander through illuminated installations, encounter roving performers, engage with hands-on technology exhibits, and experience moments that blend science and art.

Highlights include:
- Light Museum with works by local and regional artists throughout Library Square and 200 East
- Artist Night Market, offering artworks and handmade items from local creators
- Live music and performances, including DJs, drummers, and dance acts
- Projection mapping on the Salt Lake City Public Library
- Synchronized drone light show starting at 9:45 pm

Artist, performer, and musician applications are open through September 30, 2026. The event is designed for all ages and is produced by Utah Arts Alliance.
