Hot House West Swing Orchestra Featuring Bria Skonberg

“The sounds that they create come together in an unbounded, energetic way that makes you move.” – Salt Lake Magazine

Hot House West was formed on the principle that jazz can be both world-class and welcoming. Founded by two University of Utah School of Music alumni, Hot House West has quickly become a beacon for jazz in the American West. Their unbounded energy and the sheer joy they bring to the music will turn first-time listeners into lifetime jazz fans.

At UtahPresents, the Hot House West Swing Orchestra is joined by trumpeter and vocalist Bria Skonberg, an all-star musician recently named the “shining hope of hot jazz” by the New York Times. Skonberg has been a featured artist at hundreds of festivals and stages all over the world, including New Orleans Jazz Heritage and, recently, Carnegie Hall.
