Rob Gardner’s Lamb of God is a sacred oratorio that recounts the final days of the life of Jesus Christ through the perspectives of Peter, John, Thomas, and Mary Magdalene. In this performance, the role of Jesus is represented by a solo cello instead of a singer. The production features the Southwest Symphony, local soloists, and a combined choir, focusing on the human element of the Passion story.
