Rules and format:
- Teams: 1-8 players. Decide on a team name. It can be funny or punny; witty or silly, but once you pick a name, it is set after the first round so decide carefully!
- Each team needs their pack of answer pages — one page per round.
- There will be 6 rounds.
- Each round: 10 questions in a different category, with approximately 1 minute per question.
- Each question is worth 1 point; you must get the full answer for it to be considered correct. Total points = 60.
- We will announce scores so people know where their team stands.
- Scorekeepers: At the end of each round, each team will bring the score cards to the scorekeepers and they will tally up the points for each team.
- There will be 2 extra rounds prepped in case of a tie for first place.
- The winner is the team with the most points at the end of 6 rounds!!!
- No yelling out answers, right or wrong. It disrupts the game and can bother other players.
- You're more than welcome to play by yourself, or join another team.
- Cheating at trivia is NOT COOL! BRAIN POWER ONLY! No cell phones or any type of outside sources are allowed. Teams that are reported using any outside devices will be disqualified. When we ask a question, we've researched it. The answer we have is the correct answer. The decision of the judges will be final.
- Replacement of a team member is not allowed after the start of the game.
- The object of the game is FUN!
- If you need to use your phone, please be courteous to others and step out to call or text.
