The 2026 Avenues Street Fair takes place on Saturday, October 10th, from 10 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., located on 1st Avenue between I and O Streets.
The event features:
- live music
- local arts and crafts
- prepackaged foods
- a variety of food and drink vendors
Entertainment for 2026 has already been selected. The Fair includes special attractions such as the People’s Art Gallery and a featured artist, Libby Peterson, whose "Animals in the Avenues" art will be showcased near the GACC booth at 1st Avenue and K Street.
Vendor applications for art, retail, food, nonprofit, political, and youth categories are now closed; a waitlist is in place. Government agencies interested in complimentary tabling space can contact the organizers via email. Opportunities are still available for sponsors and volunteers, and more information can be found on the event's linked pages.
