David Robertson Conducts Gil Shaham, Adele Anthony, & Orli Shaham

About
In this extraordinary evening, artistry and family intertwine to create a deeply personal musical experience. Husband-and-wife violinists Gil Shaham and Adele Anthony share the stage with pianist Orli Shaham (Gil’s sister) and her husband, conductor David Robertson.
This rare gathering offers a spectrum of musical collaboration and shared connection in the contemporary classical world, from Robertson’s luminous piano concerto (a “love letter” for his wife), to virtuosic works by Pablo de Sarasate, Avner Dorman, and Reena Esmail. As the artists unite in duos, trios, and double concertos, you'll witness not only dazzling musicianship, but the unique chemistry and harmony that can only come from making music among family.
Join us for a pre-concert chat about the evening’s program with guest artists and symphony musicians, held 45 minutes prior to the performance start time in the First Tier Room.
