About

Enchiladas & Strawberry Margaritas — 21+

Saturday, May 23 @ 5:00pm - 7:00pm
Harmons Bangerter Crossing Cooking School
Chef Mark Benson

Join us for an energetic, hands-on cooking class where you’ll learn to craft authentic-style enchiladas from scratch—featuring both tender, shredded Honey Chipotle Chicken and Beef Barbacoa fillings. We’ll begin by building the heart of the dish: a rich, deeply flavored rojo sauce made from toasted chiles, aromatics, and spices. You’ll discover how to balance heat, acidity, and depth to create a sauce that transforms simple ingredients.

Next, we’ll assemble and roll two varieties of enchiladas, layering warm tortillas, savory fillings, and melty cheese before baking them to piping-hot perfection. To round out the menu, we’ll prepare fresh guacamole, learning techniques for balancing lime, cilantro, heat, and texture so it stays bright and delicious every time. Because no fiesta is complete without a little fun, we’ll make Strawberry Margaritas—perfectly sweet, perfectly refreshing.

Menu:
- Honey Chipotle Chicken
- Beef Barbacoa (Chef Prepared)
- Enchilada Rojo Sauce
- Guacamole, Chips, Salsa
- Strawberry Margaritas
