About

September 11, 2026, 6:30 pm

Eric Heideman is a young blues musician living in Austin, Texas, originally from Salt Lake City, Utah.

Heideman was personally requested to open shows for ZZ Top at Eccles Theatre and for Walter Trout and Mike Zito at The State Room. In Texas, he has played historic venues such as the Continental Club, Gruene Hall, and the Saxon Pub.

He toured playing guitar for Tony Holiday on his opening run with GA-20 in the winter of 2026.

He recorded his breakthrough record with a team of Grammy nominees, Blues Music Award, and International Blues Challenge winners. Producers Victor Wainwright and JW-Jones, along with master engineer Dave Gross, brought their award-winning talents to Fat Rabbit Studios in New Jersey.

"This is my most exciting release yet, and I am thrilled to have worked with such a critically acclaimed team," says Heideman. "This is the most soulful and high-quality record I've made." Co-Producer JW-Jones says, "Victor Wainwright and I really brought out the very best of Eric's abilities, and this is a really great album!"

He was a featured performer at the Utah Blues Festival in 2022, 2023, and 2024, and has traded riffs alongside artists including Tab Benoit, Nick Moss, Thornetta Davis, Vanessa Collier, Albert Castiglia, Tony Holiday, Laura Chavez, and Sugaray Rayford.
