European Cultural Festival

Come to the 8th annual European Cultural Festival in The Orchard at University Place! Learn about different parts of Europe through food, dancing, music & battling Knights.

Stage entertainment will run throughout the event, with performances from different parts of Europe: Scottish & Irish bagpipes; Irish, German, Hungarian, Norwegian, Danish, and Spanish (Flamenco) dance. Some performances will include parts where you can learn the dance.

To conclude the event, be thrilled by the fighting knights from the 13th Legion as they battle it out right in front of your eyes.

Other activities include:
- Maypole workshop area where kids and adults can learn and participate in the Maypole dance
- Kids axe throwing and archery
- Yard games
- Play on Pirate Ship

Stage Schedule:
- 5:15-5:45 PM – Scotland – Heathen Highlanders Bagpipes
- 5:45-6:15 PM – Ireland – Harp Irish Dance Company
- 6:30-7:00 PM – Spain – Flamenco del Lago
- 7:05-7:35 PM – World Dance Company (German, Hungarian, Norwegian & Danish)
- 7:45-8:15 PM – Meet and greet & get photos with the Fighting Knights (figure out who you want to win)
- 8:15-9:00 PM – 13th Legion battle
