About
The 2026 Family Festival in Cedar Hills will take place from May 30 to June 6. This community celebration features activities for all ages, including tournaments, art, recreation, and local entrepreneurship opportunities.
Key activities include:
- Pickleball Tournament (June 3–6): Open to players and spectators interested in one of Utah's best tournaments.
- Chalk Art Festival (June 1 & 2, 8:00am–5:00pm at Heritage Park South Pavilion): Artists of all ages can participate in creating chalk art to celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. Judging and awards are held June 2 at 5:00pm. Registration is needed for each participant.
- Rec Hour at Harvey Park (June 1–3): Daily outdoor activities for kids, including kickball with local police (June 1), dodgeball with the fire department (June 2, ages 7+), and 'Cosmo in the Park' with games and photos with BYU's Cosmo (June 3, all ages, no registration required). Pre-registration is required for the first two dates.
- Children's Vendor Fair (June 4, 6:00pm–8:00pm): A chance to shop with and support local youth entrepreneurs ages 17 and under. Registration is available for young vendors.
- Vendor Days (June 5 & 6): Food and other vendors, including a city-sponsored catered dinner on June 5.
Festival tickets will be available for purchase at each event's will call. Select activities require registration. Commemorative America 250 Family Festival T-shirts will be available for purchase at most events.
