Join Weber State University professor and artist Alix Twiggs Wright for a hands-on sewing and embellishment workshop focused on repurposing clothing and fabric items. Bring a piece of clothing, a bag, or another fabric item to transform, or use a provided tote bag. Learn basic sewing and embellishment skills using sewing machines and experiment with your own design ideas.
This workshop is for anyone interested in giving their wardrobe new life or exploring creative, sustainable alternatives to buying new clothing. All sewing machines and materials are provided, and no prior sewing experience is needed. RSVP is required to attend.
