Onstage Ogden: American Patchwork Quartet with Fabiola Méndez

October 14th | 7:30 PM

Onstage Ogden brings Grammy-nominated American Patchwork Quartet together with Puerto Rican cuatro virtuoso Fabiola Méndez for a night blending American folk, jazz, Hindustani classical, Puerto Rican folk, and Afro-Caribbean sounds.

American Patchwork Quartet reimagines familiar American folk songs through musical traditions from around the world, while Méndez brings the unique sound of Puerto Rico’s national instrument, the cuatro, to the stage. She’s performed everywhere from NPR’s Tiny Desk to the Met and has even performed alongside Bad Bunny.

Two distinct musical worlds come together for one night at The Monarch!
