Upcoming Ugly Sweater Ornament Class, Fri Dec 4, drop in between 7pm – 9pm (taught by Jenny Venegas, place tba, $14)

You’re invited to take a hand-crocheted sweater ornament and add accessories to make it ugly or even uglier. This class will soon be a holiday favorite.

Participants can choose from sequins, pom-poms, tinsel, and other options to decorate a handcrafted crocheted sweater ornament. The class is family-friendly and open to all ages. No experience is necessary, and all materials will be provided. Just bring your imagination and your willingness to have some fun!

Friday, December 4, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Drop in any time or sign up for a time slot.

Children under 10 will need help from an adult when handling a glue gun.

Cancellations made more than seven days before the class are eligible for a full refund minus a $5 cancellation fee. No refunds are available for cancellations made less than seven days before the class begins.

Instructor Jenny Venegas enjoys learning and creating through what many refer to as “domestic arts”—sewing, quilting, canning, and embroidery, among others. After taking a break from creative endeavors for many years, she has gradually returned to her roots with her brand, Aunt GG’s, inspired by her great-aunts Grace and Glady. Jenny creates comforting handmade goods for the home and patio.
