Unearth A Story: Clay Pots

Be inspired by UMFA's global collection of earthenware pottery and experiment with coil, slab, and pinch pot techniques to create your own clay pot.

The Utah Museum of Fine Arts has over 5,000 years of human creativity with artwork from around the world. Its collections of American Indian, African, and Mexican earthenware reveal many methods for working with clay.
