Freedom’s Light Festival

Freedom's Light Festival is a free, three-day event celebrating American history and the Constitution. The 2026 festival will mark the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, offering a special semiquincentennial celebration.

The festival is tailored for all ages—adults, teens, and children—with live historical reenactments, hands-on activities, and interactive storytelling related to America's founding.

• Portrayals of Founding Fathers and Mothers, Revolutionary leaders, and early American figures
• Colonial life artisans such as blacksmiths, coopers, and calligraphers
• Cannon and musket demonstrations
• "Give Me Liberty" musicals
• Recitations of the Declaration of Independence

Food and gifts are available from booths offering hamburgers, hot dogs, Navajo tacos, cookies, and a colonial-themed book and gift store.
