Handcart Days

Handcart Days is a two-day community celebration in Bountiful, Utah, with the 2026 theme "Faith & Freedom."

• Friday, July 24, 2026: Bountiful City Park — food, drinks, games, and activities from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM; concessions until 9:30 PM. A free concert by Jenny Oaks Baker & Family Four will be held at the Bountiful City Park Pavilion from 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM. Attendees are encouraged to bring a blanket or camp chair.

• Saturday, July 25, 2026: The day starts with the Handcart Days Race (organized by South Davis Recreation Center). At 9:00 AM the Handcart Days Parade—Utah's second largest—will take place on Bountiful's Main Street. Parade spectators are advised that chairs may not be placed along the route before Friday at 9:00 PM unless someone is occupying them. Saturday park activities, including games and family fun, run from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The celebration concludes with the annual fireworks show at Mueller Park Junior High at 10:00 PM.
