Rhinestones & Reading — a 21+ book bedazzling fundraiser at Second Summit Cider.
Bring a book, add some sparkle, and help support children’s literacy. This event celebrates Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library and its impact on getting books into the hands of children.
Bring ANY book you’d like to bedazzle — your ticket includes all rhinestones, gems, and supplies you’ll need.
What to expect:
- DIY Book Bedazzling — just bring your own book!
- All bedazzling supplies provided
- Food and drinks available for purchase from Second Summit Cider
- Children’s book donation drive (optional)
- A portion of event proceeds donated to support children’s literacy
- The Rainbow Road children’s book + coloring book available for purchase (proceeds donated)
20% of ticket sales will be donated to a local nonprofit supporting children’s literacy. Copies of The Rainbow Road by Kendall Suljic and its accompanying coloring book will be available for purchase, with proceeds donated as well.
In addition to the book you bedazzle, you’re invited to bring a new or gently used children’s book to donate. All collected books will be donated to a local nonprofit. The donation drive is optional.
