Scott Stewart

Scott Stewart, founding member of the Crested Butte, Colorado-based Floodgate Operators, knows a thing or two about fast, flat-picking bluegrass, and he's been perfecting the craft since the band's founding in 2018.

As a solo performer, Scott draws on everything — his original contributions to the band, nods to his musical inspirations, and the old bluegrass traditions that fall in between. His solo sets carry the intimacy of bluegrass's early days, connecting with flatpicking fans of every generation.
