About
Kris Lager is a Nebraska-born musician and frontman of the Kris Lager Band, known for a high-energy, genre-blending style he calls "Rock 'n' Roll Revival." Based in Omaha, he's spent over two decades touring and recording, building a devoted grassroots following around a "Celebrate Life" mantra.
The music is an eclectic gumbo of blues, soul, funk, and roots rock, anchored by a lineup that includes:
- John Fairchild (aka Scooby Sha Bo Bo) — drums and beatbox
- Jeremiah Weir — keys
- Brandon Miller — bass
Lager has collaborated with some heavy hitters along the way — his albums have been produced or mixed by Jim Gaines (Santana, Stevie Ray Vaughan) and Louisiana blues legend Tab Benoit. The band also spent time as the touring version of blues-rock group Indigenous, and Lager has worked extensively with Andy Frasco, who calls him his "favorite songwriter."
