The Discover NHL Winter Classic® is headed to Utah! 🦣
The Utah Mammoth will face the Colorado Avalanche in the Discover NHL Winter Classic® on Thursday, Dec. 31, 2026, at Rice-Eccles Stadium, the on-campus football venue at the University of Utah.
The game will be televised exclusively on TNT in the U.S. and on Sportsnet in Canada.
Tickets to the outdoor game will be available for purchase on Tuesday, June 16. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. MT on June 16 via Ticketmaster, the official ticketing partner of the NHL, and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. Ticketmaster is the official marketplace of the NHL, and seats bought on Ticketmaster.com and the Ticketmaster app are the seats you’ll get.

This edition will mark the 18th NHL Winter Classic® and the 47th NHL regular-season outdoor game overall. The Utah Mammoth will become the 32nd NHL franchise to participate in an outdoor game.
