About
Craftober Fest 2026 is a celebration of South Salt Lake's creative community, featuring local food, brew and cocktails, live music, art vendors, and interactive art activities. The event invites residents and visitors to shop, eat, dance, and connect with neighbors and creative professionals.
When: Saturday, October 3rd, from 12:00pm to 5:00pm
Where: 2460 S. Oakland Ave (between Main Street and West Temple)
Highlights include:
- A curated market of over 100 art vendors offering fine art prints, custom stickers, handcrafted leather goods, comic books, and more.
- Live music and various performances throughout the day.
- Interactive art activities suitable for all ages.
- Special call for vendors (applications close August 14th, 2026) and for plein air artists (applications close August 17th, 2026). Selected plein air artists receive a $150 stipend and can participate in a post-event silent auction, with 100% of proceeds going back to the artist.
A post-event silent auction of plein air artwork will be held on October 15 from 6-8 pm at Level Crossing Brewery (21+ for this auction event).
Craftober Fest is an inclusive, community-driven event built on diversity and support for the arts. Volunteers and sponsors are welcome. For sponsorships, contact arts@sslc.gov.
