Food Truck Series: Poke Bowls & Spam Musubi

Saturday, June 27 | 5:00pm-7:00 p.m.
Harmons Bangerter Crossing Cooking School
Chef Mark Benson

Join the Harmons Cooking School team in their continuation of the Food Truck Series where you’ll learn to prepare and build refreshing poke bowls and mouthwatering spam musubi. In this class you will learn how to properly cook sushi rice, prepare raw and cooked seafood, and expand your knife skills as you cut and prepare fresh ingredients for an irresistible, flavor-packed poke bowl.

Along with these colorful bowls, Chef Mark will show you how to build a simple spam musubi layered with rice, seared spam, and wrapped with nori. What better way to top off the evening than an ice-cold tropical smoothie made with a selection of mango, coconut, lychee, and strawberries. You don’t want to miss this one!

Menu:
- Edamame
- Sushi bowls with raw tuna, cooked shrimp, Varlaks salmon
- Seaweed salad, squid salad, nori, furikake, sushi rice
- Mango, edamame, avocado, cucumber, shredded carrot, green onion, purple cabbage, cilantro, sesame seeds
- Sriracha aioli
- Spam musubi
