This class is designed for Junior Chefs ages 9 through 14. No adults, please; this class is for kids only.
In this hands-on class, junior chefs will learn how to select and season the right cut of meat and use the butter-basted technique to make a tender, juicy steak. They’ll also prepare roasted potatoes and asparagus, and learn kitchen safety and knife skills. No prior cooking experience is necessary.

Students will work in small groups, sharing workstations and equipment. Kids will be standing, cooking, and working for most of the class. Please have them wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes, tie back long hair, and wear long pants and a shirt with sleeves (no sleeveless tops).
