Freedom’s Light Festival is a free, 3-day event designed to bring American history to life. The festival focuses on the U.S. Constitution and the nation’s founding, featuring live reenactments, hands-on activities, and interactive storytelling. It marks the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence and offers experiences for all ages—adults, teens, and children—highlighted through age-specific activities and videos.

Each day includes activities such as booth exhibitions, Declaration recitations, appearances by historical figures like Frederick Douglass, Soldier Marches, musical performances, and interactive dances.
Saturday features additional demonstrations such as musket and cannon firings and candy cannon firings.
Attendees will meet reenactors portraying Founding Fathers and Mothers, Revolutionary leaders, colonial artisans, and Continental soldiers. There are also attractions featuring early American figures.
Food booths and a colonial-themed book and gift store will be available. Admission is free and the event is suited for all ages.
